Gir Birding Lodge is an excellent property amidst nature and the staff is very good. Excellent hospitality. Amit, Pramod, and other staff members gave us excellent treatment, food was delicious. The place is very clean. The stay was memorable as the safaris were amazing. The sighting was excellent - Lion, Lioness, and cubs. It was really memorable. We will visit again and will look forward for more experience among flora and fauna in Gir forest and will surely stay in the lodge for a serene experience and for more wild exploration.

We from Pune - 2 families visited - Good food, good breakfast, and good hospitality. Excellent management.
We were looking to see lions in the morning - 0630 AM. Later we saw arrow - 7 & lion family.

This hotel feels like home but we can't say it a hotel because it totally feels like home. I come here with my family. This is a good place to visit with family. It feels cosey here, a good place you should visit.

Best ever hotel I ever visited during my visit to Gujarat. It feels like a home away from home. Everything is good and the place is very isolated. Best place to find yourself and to spend some alone quality time. Close to nature.

My wife and myself were very happy to have our homely stay at GBL. Not only the stay, but the owner/ full supporting staff are friendly/supportive/knowledgeable. Special thanks to Mohit Ji, Alem, Amit, Pramod, Ramesh, and a back-office team of the kitchen. Also not forgetting Priya who was very helpful in booking/guiding etc.

Food quality is awesome. Room cleanliness was very good. Recent members like Pandit ji, Amit ji, Ramesh ji was impressive.

- It will be nice to have some local Gujarati food as some of them from the states come to visit.
- Also need to include some activities for board games and Len fire

I feel really bad to leave such a wonderful place nurtured with utmost care and precision to make our holidays feel prestigious with such a wonderful property and more than that wonderful was the staff courtesy and response the staff at the place is greater than great specially in the restaurant "MR PRAMOD KUMAR" and "MR RAMESH" at the reception. Safari of Jungle on the first day booked on own was not fruitful. Second safari booked through GBL was of unique experience. Got to view the full family of Lion with cubs (2+5) and also a couple lion.

Kudos to GBL for providing an enchanting Lion safari. And the GBL also arranged for us for birds/crocodile visits. Again a unique experience.

This is a great place to stay when you’re visiting. Sassan Gir. Seems like you’re inside the nature, this place doesn’t fee like you’re in a commercial property. It’s more like that you’re in your vacation home.

I am a person, who enjoys minimal facilities (a kind of sustainable way) but open surroundings and wilderness. This was a family trip and we enjoyed our stay in resort, its food and variety of song birds and from flowerpecker to flycatchers everything is just outside your window. Rooms are very specious, verandah is also designed in such a ways that your views and privacy of neighborhood respected. 
I strongly recommend, if you are interesting in birding & nature and visiting Gir National Park or Gir Landscape, then you should select this place for your stay, you will not regret on your decision. "

The lodge's mango orchard was a haven for birdlife, and we were thrilled to spot many species amidst the lush surroundings. Overall, our stay at Gir Birding Lodge was outstanding, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking a unique and immersive wildlife experience !!

I would like to highlight that though property is spread over 22 Acres, it primarily consists of mango orchards. The accessible area is very limited. The property needs complete refurbishment. It doesn't look like it is spread over 22 Acres

Suggestion - Please don't give information that the property is spread over 22 Acres since accessible area is very limited. Further the property requires complete overhaul.

Commen on the comprehensiveness, clarity and accuracy of the information provided by our team: Truly beautiful lodge .very peaceful, full of mango trees. The food served here is excellent. More importantly, Ramesh Vala and his team are exceptional in service. I had to leave at 2.30 am for Ahmedabad, and I was given tea at that time. I don’t think anywhere in India you will find such service-oriented people. 

 Needs improvement. Rooms can be made a little more comfortable. Plumbing issues were there. Hot water was sporadic. Some amenities like hair dryer, mini fridge etc help. Wi-Fi needs improvement. Also, intercom facilities should be introduced.
