I am a person who enjoys minimal facilities (a kind of sustainable way) but open surroundings and wilderness. This was a family trip and we enjoyed our stay in the resort, its food and variety of song birds, and from flowerpecker to flycatchers, everything is just outside your window. Rooms are very spacious, verandah is also designed in such a way that your views and privacy of the neighborhood are respected. I strongly recommend, if you are interested in birding & nature and visiting Gir National Park or Gir Landscape, then you should select this place for your stay, you will not regret your decision.

Very well-maintained resort - peaceful, clean, fresh environment - the same goes for the team, who are soft-spoken, attentive, prompt, and eager to help. Breakfast was a bit less satisfying, and maybe more options were needed, but the lunch and dinner were excellent. The in-house team, with the gentleman at the reception (sorry, I forgot his name) and Mr Amit the Naturalist, and we had an amazing stay at GBL.
