Itinerary Overview
Day 01: Arrive at Gir National Park

Meals: Lunch and Dinner
Accommodation: Gir Birding Lodge

Arrival at Gir Birding lodge (on own). Check in to the lodge. The rest of the day, birdwatching and photography around the lodge or in the nearby areas.

Overnight stay.

Key species: Lion, Leopard, Wild Boar, Spotted Deer, Indian Stone-curlew, Tickell’s Blue Flycatcher, Common Woodshrike, Western Osprey
 


Day 02: Gir National Park

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Accommodation: Gir Birding Lodge

Early morning, go for a wildlife safari. After returning, have your breakfast. Late,r enjoy your lunch, then go for an afternoon safari to enjoy the serene atmosphere. After returning from the safari in the evening, you can capture the bird species near the resort premises. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Departure

Explore the wilds of Gir with another morning wildlife safari. Sasan Gir is the last abode of Asiatic Lions and is considered an excellent place for birdwatching. The park checklist has 250 birds, and about 50 other species are recorded in the grasslands along the periphery of the sanctuary.

Later, check out of the lodge and proceed to your onward destination.
